According to different requirements: speed, degree of automation, productivity, type of required surface, strip thickness, strip width and coil weight, number of slit strips and so on, we will develop, design and provide the best solution accordingly.

Depending on the type of longitudinal slitting line, the finishing line is mainly composed of:

      Decoiler / Uncoiler
  • The decoiler continuously uncoils the strips and maintains a constant tension in generator mode and provides motor-driven support of feeding.
  • De-coiler for coil weights can be up to 40tons and strip widths max 2, 200 mm.
  • Applicable for different tension levels
  • Different coil diameters is managed by means of expandable shaft with the segments that can be radially adjusted via a sliding wedge system to grip the coil on the decoiler shaft. And by adding rubber/steel sleeve.
  • Single decoiler or double cones decoiler is available.
  • Outboard bearing support is provided for single decoiler
  • AC- or DC-powered
      Peeler, threading pinch roll, flattener / straightener and crop shear
  • The configuration of the machines in the section can be various according to customers’ specified request.
  • After the coil is unwound, the threading pinch roll captures the strip and moves it through the straightener. The flattener is designed by TX with different diameter and number of work rolls based on the type of material to be processed, thickness, width, tensile strength and etc.
  • Cropping shears is utilized on both entry side and output section: in feeding side, it cut the ends of strips which is improperly dimensioned and of irreparable surface defects; in the output section, the crop shear cut the strip according to the pre-set length on the HMI.

  • Materials to be processed including both ferrous and non-ferrous metals such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, chromium and many different kinds of special alloys.
  • Strip widths 2,200mm max.
  • Thicknesses ranging from 0.1 to 10 mm
  • TX’s Slitter heads is designed and manufactured for achieving the highest precision and strictest tolerance value on slitting width, minimum bur, and shear/tear ratio, by means of minimum arbor bending, parallelism of the slitter shafts, exact concentricity, “0” axial gap and our advanced tooling locking system.
  • Double slitters interchange system: there are two slitter heads are equipped, one slitter head is running for production in line, while another is in tool setting offline, after the production, the dual injector slitter heads are interchanged by shuttle system on rails. By this means the time for tool changing time can be minimized.
      Tensioning and braking system
  • Braking systems are utilized to decelerate the loose slit strips coming out of the pit, provide uniform tension on each slit strip therefore the strips can be wound tightly and edged straightly.
  • Thanks to our years effort and practice, we have developed the most advanced tensioning system applicable for both delicate and non-delicate material, like hot rolled steel, stainless steel, aluminium, pre-painted steel, electric steel, copper, brass and titanium.
