Solutions causes and solutions of deformation in the slitting line processing:
Snaking (sickle bending shape) or snakelike in slitting line refers to the bending phenomenon in the wide direction of the steel coil after cutting. There are various reasons for this.
A: Snaking caused by raw materials:
There will be potential residual stress inside the mother coil during tie-in processing, and snaking is generated when the balance is broken after cutting processing.
B: Snaking caused by burr:
The thickness of the plate at the edge of the burr in the sill process becomes larger when the rewinding machine takes out the burr. The bigger the rewinding, the edge stretches and causes snaking. Stand behind the winding machine to confirm the gradual increase of plate thickness, and then handle with paper clip or segmentation.
C: Snaking caused by uneven knife clearance:
If the knife clearance is large, the indentation part of the cut part will become larger, and the side with small knife clearance will be stretched larger, thus producing snaking. Especially when the ratio of plate thickness to plate width is smaller (i.e. narrow strip), the snaking occurs more. Therefore, the material of narrow steel belt processing should be carefully paid attention to when matching knife.
D: Snaking caused by unilateral stretching of the coiler:
When coiling, the overall tension of the plate should be uniform. Once this tension is concentrated on one side, the side with the greater tension will have a greater stretch, resulting in a snake. The reason is that the positioning of separator is bad, tension pressure plate is adjusted bad, lining paper is placed bad etc.
E: Snaking caused by operation when the side steering setting is too tight:
When the side steering setting is too tight in shear operation, the part that contacts the side of the steel plate will be stretched to produce snaking.
The edge deformation of the edge wave steel strip processed by the slitting line is called edge wave. There are many reasons. You can have side waves on either side. Side waves can also be produced on one side.
A: Edge wave caused by burr:
The outside diameter of the burr edge tends to increase gradually when it is taken by the winder in the slitting line. This creates edge stretching. Most of these situations produce snaking and side waves. If this type of edge wave is found, customers will complain. So the management of burrs is one of the most important focuses. In the process of rolling to be fully monitored, once the phenomenon of increasing diameter, can only be solved by clamping paper, but most customers will hate clamping paper.
B: Side wave caused by excessive pressure drop of the measuring roller:
When the pressure drop of the measuring roller is too large, the edge will be stretched, so it is easy to produce side wave.
C: Edge wave generated by tool side iron chip sintering in the slitting line:
Small edge wave will be generated in the case of tool side iron chip sintering, as well as corrugate hair generated by tool overlap surface wear. The countermeasures are as follows: increase the blade clearance, reduce the side pressure; Selection and processing material suitable tool; Apply a high volatile solvent such as banana water on the side of the tool (consider the customer’s use if necessary, oil will be better).
D: Side wave caused by the height difference of the side guide:
The height of the pass plate will change as the tool grinds. If the height difference is too large, it is easy to produce edge wave. So when the tool is used after grinding, check the height of the side, and adjust the height of the plate if necessary.
E: Side wave generated by the wear of the deflection roll before the winding machine of the sash line:
The wear of the deflection roll or tensioning roll (usually saddle-shaped wear occurs in the middle of the roll due to more contact with the steel belt) once it is too large, the tension on both sides will produce side wave when the wide sidewood is coiling. This type of edge wave is not easy to detect, so there is a risk of batch failure. So. It is very important to measure the dent by placing a ruler over the associated roller.
