The metal cut to length line is a process in which steel coils are uncoiled and fed through a shear blade for length wise cutting into required lengths with precise tolerances. Levelers and straighteners are installed after the uncoiler and before the shear for shape corrections and flattening of the sheets. - Start-stop shear CTL line
Start-stop shear CTL line is mainly used with uncoiler, straightener, buffer loop, hydraulic plate shearer, stacker, etc. The cutting of metal strips must be stopped. Cutting motion from bottom to top. Finished products with high precision, high precision and good quality. Suitable for cutting light and medium metal. TX’s start-stop shear cut to length line is mainly classified into three types: crankshaft shear CTL line, hydraulic shear CTL line and trapezoidal shear (swing shear) CTL line.
2. Flying shear CTL line
Flying shear CTL line assembly allows shear acceleration and synchronous strip speed to cut material without stopping the material supply. This allows the entire coil of strip steel to be processed without accumulating the necessary shear cycle downtime, and flying shear is also commonly connected to continuous process equipment such as casting machines.
3. Rotary shears CTL line
Rotary shear line is mainly used for precise leveling and cutting products of CR, S.S, Al and other materials. TX’s cut to length line with rotary shear is mainly used for cutting light gauge and medium gauge material. For steel the thickness is up to 3.0mm; for aluminum up to 6.0mm. Suitable for processing cold rolled steel, stainless steel, aluminum and etc.
4.Trapezoidal shear CTL line
Trapezoidal shear CTL line machine adopts start-stop shearing mode, which is composed of uncoiler + buffer roller, peeling machine + clip roller + cutting machine, leveling machine, PVC gluing machine, ring pit working table, servo measuring device, pendulum shear and stacking system. For the trapezoidal plate, the pendulum shear can make a 30-degree angle cut. For rectangular blanks, 90-degree shear can be performed. The shears can process carbon steel, cold-rolled steel and galvanized steel with thickness below 3.0mm
5. Heavy gauge CTL line
The heavy gauge cut to length lines is designed for material thickness greater than 1/2 “(12.7 mm). A wide range of input thicknesses can be accommodated by alternating between straighteners and flatbed straighteners. Heavy-duty production lines use large machinery or hydraulic shears to cut material, also known as stop-go CTL. Heavy-duty stacked sections allow handling into bundles of cutting plates.
6. Flat bar cut to length line
Flat bar cut to length lines is used to produce steel grids or other products with low edge requirements. It is mainly flat steel formed by cutting and direct cutting.
